For my stay from November 30 until December 4, I did book a room at the Singapore Marriott Tang Plaza Hotel, one of the best hotels in Singapore, where they upgraded me to the Pool Terrace Room, with a terrace right at the pool, deep soaking bathtub, king bed and plenty of space.
Breakfast at the Marriott Cafe, featuring an open kitchen with multiple live cooking stations, was awesome. So much choice as you can see!
I also enjoyed a healthy Caesar salad for lunch, prepared, tossed and served right at my table which is a definite must-try experience at their Pool Grill restaurant.
Sadly when I arrived, I got sick so I didn’t really get a chance to see the city but I am glad that on my last day I got to see my friend Daan van Rossum who showed me around a bit and we ended the evening with a tasty dinner at Cook & Brew at The Westin.
I have visited many Asian countries but somehow Singapore made a big impression on me, such a beautiful, vibrant and clean city. If I someday need to open an Asian presence for my business, I will definitely choose for Singapore!
Goodbye for now and hopefully I will be back soon!
